Can you drink water to lose weight?

Yes! It IS important to drink water to lose weight. There are several reasons for this.
1. Did you know that drinking too little water can cause your body to retain water? It’s true. Water retention is our body’s natural response to dehydration. 2. Drinking sufficient water ensures that the liver can metabolize fat into energy, which results in healthy weight loss. 3. Drinking too little water also slows the lymphatic system, which can cause toxins and waste to accumulate in fat cells and create cellulite. 4. Sufficient fluid (especially water) helps to promote frequent bowel movements, which is essential to health. 5. The final reason you should drink water to lose weight is because water makes you feel full, so you’re less likely to overeat. So drinking water is important for weight loss, but make it a part of an overall healthy eating and exercise plan. The best way to start a weight loss program is to go through a detox.
